The new knitty is out! Have you seen it?
At first glance, I scanned past the Sineesfrid vest, but now, I’m thinking of adding it to my queue; it’s charming.
I think I love the Lewis sweater….my only misgivings are with the shirttail hemline. Think I’d prefer it straight across like a tunic.
Jackaroo looks like a nice hard-working cardigan, but I’d use some one-of-a-kind buttons to highlight that it is hand knit.
The construction of the Flying Geese intrigues me, so I’ll be making a pair of those at some point.
Up ’til now, I couldn’t really see myself wearing legwarmers. But, now I’m ready to cast on for a pair of Nozky….I’m thinking gray.
And lastly, the Matsudana socks will probably be the first of these projects to find their way onto my needles. These puppies are beautiful and well, you may have noticed that I knit a lot of socks.
Ps. I hate to post a blog with no pic, but as I don’t know that knitty would appreciate me using their images, I’ll leave you with the Stripee socks – take 2. They’re going in the mail tomorrow!

I love the flying geese! Not sure I am quite ready for leg warmers again in my life.
I think they would be fun for hockey games next season.
I like the Moufles Marque d’Amour mittens, although I don’t think I’ll knit them after reading about the floats. There are too many other, easier patterns that I like! I also like Jackaroo, but I’d want both the body and the sleeves longer. I’ll probably end up knitting the Squirrel hat for a friend. I like Glitz in the Ritz and Sugar Stick, too… I love Knitty.
me too!!!!!!
Pretty, pretty socks! I’m also eying Lewis for a future project, it looks great. Although I don’t approve of their yarn choice, I can’t imagine it being comfortable to wear according to past experiences.
wool, SILK and bamboo and it isn’t comfortable? VERY interesting!
