I’ve been knitting through the The Knitter’s Curiosity Cabinet, Volume II Knit-a-long on Ravelry and the socks we’re working on now are the Delias eucharis Socks by Hunter Hammersen (Plucky Knitter Plucky Feet). The socks are gorgeous, but I could not decide what color I was feeling. I swatched in Gone Glamping (far left) after narrowing down my list to these.
…but I just did NOT love it. Then, while getting ready one morning, I wished for slateish blue socks, so…….behold my Delias in progress in The Plucky Knitter Primo Fingering – Flying Atlas.
Sudden inspiration for the win!

Those are all beautiful colors, it would be so hard to choose! Love the Delias :)
That was the hardest part, for sure! The pattern is lovely in every color I’ve seen.
I love the colors of that yarn. I really have a problem knitting on something if I’m not in love with it.
me too. But in this case, it was hard because I knew the pattern would look great in all of them.
Oooo, I’m envious of your plucky primo. I’ve been wanting that yarn for awhile.
Thanks! My secret is to set Plucky to text alerts on twitter.
I love all those colors but you just have to pick what works for you. Love the pattern.
Thanks so much! Hunter does really lovely design work, for sure.
beautiful socks! I’ve heard of the book from knitmoregirls podcast. have fun knitting through the book!
Hunter’s books are all really good. Knitting all her socks keeps me busy, but they’re addictive. :)
Lovely swatch! Those socks are on my to-knit-someday list.
I’m sure you’d enjoy them. I look forward to seeing them someday.
I love them in that color, and I LOVE that yarn photo!
gracias!!!
great color choice….but, then, it would have been hard to miss really….all great colors. Lovely pattern!
indeed. this pattern lends itself to ANY semisolid. :)
One of these days I’m going to knit my way through one of Hunter’s books… one of these days. :)
oh, you should. They’re just lovely. Silk Road Socks will probably always be my favorite since it was my gateway drug, but they’re all great!
Look at all that yarn!
Yarn does make for pretty pictures….to knitters anyway. :)
I love all those colors but the slate is lovely. I love the pattern as well.
Thanks! Hunter designs really gorgeous stuff. I’m always pleased with her socks.
