That was the theme going into my dye day with a friend last Sunday. We ended up not using very much blue, but we did run out of purple kool-aid….and green. The Husband was sweet enough to run to the grocery store and pick up some more while we continued to cook yarn.
Here’s what we ended up with and I’ll post the “recipes” for each over the next few days in case you see something you like.
white became what the dyer thought looked like Wet Dolphin and I want to name Ice Queen
white becomes self-striping rainbow yarn
kermit green became this lovely shade
we spun gray yarn into gold
Blue cowl with rust spots gets purple overtones
Bright pink becomes burnt orange
Happy March!

1. I didn’t love this movie.
2. The chase scene was so poorly done I started to feel sick.
3. This movie felt like a 2 hour Mercedes commercial. Idea for a drinking game: Watch this movie and drink every time you see a Mercedes logo. (Please drink responsibly and always designate a driver.)
4. This is what I was knitting (K2P2 ribbing for the leg of a sock).
5. The Husband and I saw A Good Day to Die Hard at 2pm Saturday with some friends. Then we got together with them that night and watched Live Free or Die Hard because we were in the mood to watch a good Die Hard movie that day. True Story.
